Michael Doyle

Since 1997 Michael's role at SydneyWeb incorporates that of Managing Director and he holds overall responsibility for project management and business alliances. Michael has a broad set of skills relevant to providing strategic direction and advice on the management and delivery of online content, including business analysis, requirements acquisition, solution building, user centered design, and search engine optimization processes. Since late 1997 Michael has project managed and produced a wide range of interactive projects, working with Top 500 clients such as HSBC, Star Track Express, Johnson & Johnson, Australand, and Sony ensuring that over 650 projects over 10 years ran smoothly and seamlessly.
He has also played professional soccer for several years,and is an avid fan of the world game. He is also the "networker man" and goes to the opening of an envelope in the Internet Industry events calender.(or is it for the free beer)or its the Scottish part of him thats in the pub!
Chris Balafas
Business Development Manager
Chris Balafas is the Business Development Manager for Sydneyweb and has experience in the online space in the areas of web marketing and online advertising sales. Chris is responsible for the growth of new business and revenue for sales at Sydneyweb.
He has a keen business interest in Internet Marketing as well as Internet Media Technology. He is an avid sports person following Rugby League/Union, Soccer and the AFL and has represented the Sydney Swans as a Junior along with the Parramatta Eels.
Tony Thomas
Operations Director
Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering (Majors in Software Engineering and systems design)
Tony has a 4 year computer science degree and over 5 years experience in Project management and software development.
He is in-charge of the production team and makes sure projects are being delivered on time with quality.
In addition to a good understanding of the different types of content management systems, E-Commerce, E-Commerce security and a good understanding of SEO, Tony also has a strong problem solving skills, logical thinking and an acute attention to detail.
Geoff Surtees
Project Manager
Advanced Diploma in Marketing, Advanced Diploma in ebusiness, Advanced diploma in Microcomputing Systems
With a passion for ensuring that clients will utilise their online channel to the best of their ability, Geoff has dedicated his career to consulting, project managing and implementing online solutions, by gaining an advanced diploma in marketing and ecommerce.
With 5 years online marketing experience, Geoff has also advised to small businesses on developing an effective online channel, and takes his skill set to Sydneyweb to ensure that clients receive an efficient strategy/solution to their online success.
Miyoun Cha
Graphics & Web Designer
Bachelor of Computer Engineering, Master of Visual communication design
Miyoun joined SydneyWeb in 2006 and during this time has undertaken many design projects. Miyoun has an outstanding eye for design; both web-based and graphic. Moreover, Miyoun throws herself fully into every project with enthusiasm and commitment to ensure that each of our clients get the look and feel they are after for their corporate image.
Wayan Agoes Setiawan
Lead Web Developer
Diploma in Web Development, Certification in Graphic Design
Wayan leads a team of 10 developers and has been involved in Tourism Management prior to joining Sydneyweb, but his ability and knowledge in web development blew away the competitions. His background in Management brings along with him professionalism towards managing time and responsibility in ensuring that every project is delivered on time.
Wayan brings with him 7 years of professional web development experience along with a variety of skills, especially in Mastering ASP and PHP program.
Dr Costas Mantraz
Technical Director Strategy
Costas received his Ph.D. from Mac Uni Sydney where he lectured in advanced programming techniques,
he has been with us now for over 4 years and brings to the team vast knowledge
on advanced large scale projects.

The IT Industry is a small one and we realise we can't do every project ourselves. In light of this, we have spent many years establishing a team of professionals that prefer contracting, and we call on them whenever we have a project that requires their talents.
At Sydneyweb, we have found this to be a good business model that works. It is also a way of the IT Industry and the Internet that gives us the freedom of working the hours of our choice - many IT people prefer the flexibility of working from home or at 3am!!
